Kadodé Kampot Pepper - Black
Kadodé Kampot Pepper - Black
Black pepper is produced by hand-picking the pepper berry from the vine as it begins to mature, emerging from dark green to slightly yellow. The berries are then dried under the warm Kampot sun. During this drying process the outer husks become hard and black, transforming into the black peppercorns.
Aroma + Palate
Kadode Kampot Black Pepper is very aromatic with a fruity nose. It has a heat that builds slowly and its lovely pepper flavour lingers with floral, clove and eucalyptus notes.
Pepper partners
Black pepper is sublime in casseroles and sauces, along with salads, pasta, and a wide variety of meats. It works fantastically well with traditional Cambodian dishes such as Beef Lok Lak with a dipping sauce of freshly ground Kadode Kampot Black Pepper, fresh lime juice, and a pinch of salt and palm sugar. You’ll be amazed at how little you need to add a whole new dimension to your cooking.
